Woodshop is another program that we are very excited to bring back to the kids! We invite you to embrace the art of craftsmanship in our Woodshop program, where hands-on learning meets practical skills. This program offers a range of woodworking projects suitable for kids ages 8 and up from basic carpentry to intricate woodwork. Participants will gain proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including saws, drills, and sanders, while also learning about safety practices and project planning. Our experienced instructor, Gary Burlew guides each member through the entire process of designing, constructing, and finishing their projects, promoting creativity and problem-solving. The Woodshop program not only enhances technical skills but also fosters a sense of accomplishment and pride in creating functional and artistic pieces from raw materials. Registration required as are an interview meeting between child/parent and Instructor Gary Burlew.
