The Oneonta Boys and Girls Club (OBGC) offers many programs throughout the year.
OBGC is constantly changing and evolving programs to offer the best possible activities for your children. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for any of our programs, please let us know.
Members may do their homework after school and have help from staff with any questions.
Junior Olympic Archery Development
Our certified National Archery Association Instuctor teaches the fundamentals of safety, skill, and technique for shooting a bow and arrow. We offer classes in our 20 lane archery range on weekday afternoon and evenings, always under the supervision and guidance of our instructor.
We have a large selection of craft supplies for our members to work with, and are very proud of the beautiful projects that they have created over the years!
For our OBGC members who are looking for a higher level of commitment to a sport, and more intense training, we offer competitive teams for area leagues throughout the year.
We offer cooking classes for members of all ages in our commercial grade kitchen throughout the year.
The Club's intramural sports programs are non-competitive and recreational, and emphasize sportsmanship and player participation regardless of a child's ability.
This program teaches participants the fundamentals, rules, and some advanced maneuvers of the sport of wrestling. Members will be paired off according to sex, weight, age, and ability. Children who wish to will have the opportunity to compete in tournaments throughout the area.
The OBGC Radio Control Club is open to all members to explore the amazing world of R/C aviation and ground vehicles.
Our strength training and cardio fitness programs are designed to increase motor skills, coordination, cardiovascular and muscular endurance, as well as promote lifelong health and wellness.
